A recently renovated apartment in Triberg, Landhaus Valentin offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. Although a very short distance from the town of Triberg, the Landhaus Valentin offers a wonderfully remote and peaceful experience! Four or five apartments of different sizes are available, and there were other people there at the same time that we were, but we seldom saw them. The buiiding is so well insulated that we were hardly aware that there was anyone else there besides ourselves. The view from our balcony over fields and forests was always uplifting and refreshing, and athough we didn't take advantage of them, there are many opportunities for hiking and biking in the surrounding area (very steep up-and-down inclines, though; not for the faint-hearted!) We enjoyed, instead, driving around the countryside every day and being overwhemed by the magnificent landscapes here in the heart of the Black Forest. The owner of the property, who lives onsite, was very welcoming and willing to provide help or advice when requested.

Set in a villa and surrounded by a garden, Baumanns Landhaus is located on the outskirts of Durbach. It offers rooms with free WiFi and Netflix ™. First of all, the building and the suite were first rate - very modern, convenient and state of the art. Literally everything was exceptional. Christine, our host, was friendly, engaging and very helpful. Our unit had a small kitchenette that was efficiently arranged with top-of-the-line appliances (Bosch, Panasonic). It is possibly the most up to date suite I've had the pleasure to stay in and after seeing the unit and comparing the price, it was a rare find. Meeting such a nice person as our host was icing on the cake. We ordered breakfast that was delivered to the room. We were a little late getting back from a hike, but it was insulated and still hot and fresh. Location was next to a great hiking trail and in the middle of wine country - a quiet small town with lots of first-rate wineries.

Offering an indoor pool, sauna and fitness centre, Relais & Châteaux Hotel Schwarzmatt is located in the spa town of Badenweiler at the edge of the Black Forest. Free WiFi access is available. We really felt at home, the staff was very friendly, helpful and fulfilled any wish we had during our stay! The buffet breakfast was great with many choices. We enjoyed gourmet dinners every evening.

Set in the Swabian countryside, the Landhaus Engel in Erlaheim combines a modern design with country house décor. A sun terrace and free WiFi are also included. Perfect location for visiting Hohenzollern Castle. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Restaurant was cozy.

This 3-star guest house in Fohrenbühl provides quiet rooms in the Black Forest Nature Park. It offers a free sauna and a restaurant serving regional and vegetarian food. The breakfast spread was incredible. Much better than anything I've ever experienced in the US, and I travel often. I wish I had arrived sooner to have dinner and to experience the sauna.

Small nice house in a quiet place, with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen with dinner table. It was possible to cook and use the dishwasher, although we haven’t. Terrace and garden available. You could hear the birds singing! Garage in front of the house. Very practical location for attending a Motorcycle Racing Event at the Flugplatz Walldürn. (You need your own car or transportation to arrive).
