- seemed quite safe - quiet
The surrounding forest with great (well marked) hiking trails into the jungle. There are rubber boots up to european size 44, which may be too small. We almost stumbled upon a dangerous snake and highly advise the use of rubber boots.
Spectacular location and garden, quiet, with lots of birds and amazing view over Golfo Dulce. Probably one of the best location I have ever seen for an hotel. Great swimming pool. Free kayaks (great early morning).
Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Location is at waters edge overlooking exquisite Gulfo Dulce. Free use of bikes and kayaks. Clean, quiet room. Fantastic place!
Amazing out of the way location immersed in forest and wildlife - well worth the journey & suspect the quieter side of Corcovado. Amazing staff and local guides, nothing too much trouble. Tents secure from wildlife and great to wake up with the sides raised feeling as if you’re in the middle of the jungle. Pool pleasantly cool and deck area very relaxing with lots to see. A real treat!
Excellent accommodation. Really good value for money for a whole casita, kitchen , bathroom , lounge in the centre of town. Quiet and peaceful. Gisele is very friendly and responds quickly to questions, she lives next door. Good wifi. Nice touches like fresh flowers. Highly recommended.
Nice welcome by the reception staff and helpfulness of it during the stay. Good meals prepared and served with kindness by the local staff. Wild beautiful beach in front of the hotel. Peaceful place at day and night. Kindness of the owner Toby and a lot of personal paintings from his wife Lauren. Birds, trees, leaves and sometimes monkeys shouting. If you wish to stay for a while out of the crazy world, it’s a very good quiet spot.
