These comfortable villas feature a common use outdoor pool, free parking and Wi-Fi access, plus they include the continental breakfast for its guests. The hosts (owners) were so helpful, kind, and available for us. We were able to have dinner late in the evening even though the kitchen was already closing. The place itself is lovely, in the middle of nature, yet cozy and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning by the pool and hearing the birds sing. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying here, souranded by nature and a lot of birds 😁 The house is fully equipped with everything you need. It can get very warm during the day but there is a/c so it really helps. I would recommend to have a car if you choose this accomodation.

The kitchen had everything you would need for a short stay, a bottle of cold water in the refrigerator, hand towel, coffee, salt, and oil for cooking. Towels provided, and some toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and there was wonderful light in the entire unit. They have a floor fan which was helpful for moving the cooled air I to the kitchen from the bedroom, and also to help with drying clothes. There is a locking gate at the street for extra security and it was the perfect location. It’s very close to whatever you need, and is right next to a soda, small market, and restaurants. The decore was peaceful and I really could have stayed there permanently!

In a beautiful garden setting, with volcano views from the Rancho, the "Red Frog offers an amazing alternative in the touristy town of La Fortuna. Locally run, the host (Yannia) gave us a warm welcome to the property and was prompt to reply to any questions. Simple yet complete with everything you could want and more. A hidden gem that my family was so happy in that we extended our stay. Mucho gracias!
