Maria, Karolina and Magola were the best hosts we have stayed with!!! They made our stay feels like home: we had dinner with them, play the game "stop" with Karolina and the food made by Maria was really really good!!!! The views are absolutly astonishing! We will remember you forever! Maria also let us leave our bags in their house while we went to pass a night in Park Tayrona!

Posada la Ofelia is situated in El Trompito, 31 km from Santa Marta. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Everything. We came for one night and stayed there 7 nights! This was our the best stay in Colombia with so nice viwes and terase with hammocks, also the best food we eat in Colombia was here. Javier and Yamaira are the best cookers ever. It was also very clean and they changed sheets and towels every day!! Also the best juices here👌water,coffe was free. We would definitely come back! We loved our stay here! It was so quaint, quiet and peaceful. Wifi was exceptional. The breakfast was tasty. We loved the family who ran it. It is a very simple place to stay, but it is all you need. What you see is what you get.

We loved our stay here. Very clean room and room service was very fast and the food was delicious. Deymer the manager was very accommodating. I had left my passport in my room after I left for Santa Marta and he organised a taxi to drop it to my new hostel. Excellent stay at Buricata Hostel and I would definitely recommend. Also, free coffee!

The hotel grounds are simply magnificent! Palm grove, deserted beach - incredible! Before check-in, we were sent clear instructions on how to get to the hotel, including the bus from the entrance. We arrived a little earlier, but they prepared a room for us, which was very kind. The owner told about interesting places nearby and willingly answered all questions. The dinner was very delicious! The room itself was simple, which matched the photo. But everything was clean. A great pool with a wonderful view. We liked everything about this hotel! Especially the silence and the sounds of nature at night. And we met monkeys on the palm trees in front of the hotel!
