Everything was great, Lucas' communication was a real treasure to find in China as in general the level of English and communication is very bad, but Lucas speaks English fluently, is incredibly helpful and replies very quickly at any hour of the day. He accomodated us with just one day's notice, arranged a guide for us to visit the national park, even drove us there himself. We also had lunch there both days and the food was lovely.

Situated in the centre of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tongfu inn (In the National Forest) is a 3-minute walk from Yangjiajie Cable Car Station and 1.2 km away from Zhangjiajie National Forest... Carol, the host, is the best hotel host I have ever encountered. She speaks excellent English and consistently goes above and beyond to assist guests. Carol booked our attraction tickets, arranged transportation, and provided invaluable tips and tricks for visiting local sites. The property's location is perfect for visiting the National Park, as it's within walking distance from the west gate. Even after I checked out, Carol helped me with my medical needs. I highly recommend anyone travelling to the region to contact Carol and seek her advice. Good food, Excellent location and most of all unbelievably helpful host that is hard to find.
