After travelling from Beijing and doing a long hike on the Great Wall my 2 nieces and myself were looking for a few days of relaxation and a chance to re-charge before heading to the bustling city of Shanghai. The Yangshuo River Lodge met all our needs and more! The building itself is really lovely, lots of intricately carved wood that makes you feel like you are staying in a very grand old imperial hotel without feeling too high brow or stuffy, but the rooms and amenities are very modern and done with taste and contemporary design - from the fixtures in the bathroom to the ornate windows, everything is perfectly designed, with comfortable beds and lots of space in the rooms and lovely balconies with table and chairs for sitting in the evenings and enjoying the surrounding karst mountains, which have to be seen to be believed! The locale of this hotel is perfect, just far enough out of town to be peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are spotlessly clean and fresh towels provided every day, and plenty of hot water in the shower. The hotel sent a van to pick us up as we got off the boat from Guilin, which makes it very easy to get to the hotel, however we found that in the following days of exploration we were close enough to Yangshuo that we could easily ride the free bicycles provided by the hotel, or walk into town (about a 30 minute walk). And after long days of riding around the countryside, coming back to the pool was a highlight. The pool is very well maintained and looks out over gardens to the river, and was never crowded. The hotel has a kitchen and bar and we really enjoyed the meals we had at the hotel, and this being with someone who lives in Shanghai and has really embraced Chinese cuisine! The staff are truly one of the best things about this hotel, thank you to Jenny and staff, they speak excellent English and are so kind and helpful with any travel or tour info you might need.

Set on the banks of Dragon River, Yangshuo Tea Cozy is surrounded by the breathtaking Karst peaks and large expanses of paddy fields. Tea Cozy is a gem in Yangshuo. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to spend some days here. The whole family is so kind and ready to satisfy any needs with a smile: thar's the difference between a good hotel and a perfect one! The structure is very cozy with many chinese details and you definely will fall in love with Tea Cozy. Plus for the swimming pool in front of the mountains: the view is amazing! Good restaurant with traditional chinese food and not. Moreover, they will arrange for you any service: Li River Cruise, shuttles, bike trip around the mountains with a guide, bamboo rafting in isolated place 10/10 deserved! Thank you!

Yangshuo Jing Yuan Inn er gististaður með garði í Yangshuo, 7,5 km frá Darongshu-fallega svæðinu, 1,8 km frá Yangshuo-garðinum og 4,6 km frá Tuteng Gudao. Kate was very accommodating throughout our stay! Enjoyed the coziness of the room!Definitely worth the price ur paying for, will be back again soon!!

Yangshuo Loong Old House er staðsett í Yangshuo, aðeins 500 metrum frá ánni Yulong og býður upp á veitingastað sem framreiðir kínverskan mat. Ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet er í boði í þessari sveitagistingu.... Very good service and a beautiful place!

Yangshuo Secret Garden er staðsett í glæsilegu sveitinni í Yangshuo, nokkrum skrefum frá Yulong-ánni. Beautiful building and sorroundings, excellent food, overall had a great stay. Highly recommended to international visitors and first timers as the staff will take care of everything for you. A special thanks to the girl at the reception who spoke excellent English and really went out of her way to help me.

Moondance Boutique Resort er staðsett í Fenglou-þorpinu í Yulong River District, 10 km frá West Street. Best places in our trip to China. Moondance resort have a magnificent location just down by the river, facing the Moonhill, and surrounded by peaceful and relaxing nature. Food is great, staff is kind, room is very clean and spacious. That’s all you need to have your best experience at Yangshuo.
