Beyond the usual amenaties at a 5 star hotel like great beds, beautiful room, we loved the attention to detail such as: chocolate welcome gift, daily water, light dimmer in the bathroom so it can be soothing at night (my own bugbear), a heated mirror in the bathroom that gave a small clear square after showering. we chose a balcony room facing the lake, on the second floor. stunning views!

The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. This was extraordinary. In packing out, we forgot (and left in our room) a small leather agenda book. We called the hotel from our residence in Brussels to see if the hotel had found it. Indeed they did find it and notified us with a message asking us how we would like it send from Lausanne to Brussels. It was superb service.

Just 100 metres from the shore of Lake Geneva, Hostellerie du Château offers accommodation in the centre of Rolle. The property features a restaurant. The room was very clean, staff very friendly and the restaurant that was attached had wonderful food.

Beautiful property with amazing staff . They even bring you to your room . Kind of nice to see instead of just being giving a card and being sent on your way.

Set in Montreux in the Vaud region, Loft apartment in the Castle Château du Châtelard offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The location was gorgeous and the room was comfortable. We loved waking up to the views in the morning and exploring the grounds, while also being close enough to the town to enjoy a nice dinner and strolls along the lake.
