Hotel Landhaus enjoys a central location in Bern, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town and 200 metres from the well-known Bear Pit. The location of a hotel is great but most of all it is so nicely eqiped, lively and a combination of old and new that it is really something special. I even felt no need to add a bucket of freshly picked roses in a room as I usually do :) Pefect, would stay again and again and again (and the cleaning lady Anita even alowed me to briefly look how some other rooms are eqiped and designed, they all are great - and Anita was so kind and helpful). Plus: the breakfast with all the variety of vegetarian and vegan food, fresh fruit, small portions of already made muesli and humus ... very nice!

Aiavaate ja rõduga Studio Bienvenue chez les Quadeurs asub umbes 22 km kaugusel Rahvusvahelisest Kellamuuseumist. Majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. We arrived at Les Quadeuts after a long hike and felt immediately welcome at this very relaxing place. The hosts are very nice people, the family is really sweet (the children made friends with our dog and there are several dogs on the property). The whole spirit is one of conviviality and liberty, and we enjoyed sitting at the big table in the garden watching the sunset.

This glorious spot takes you back in time… nestled in the hustle and bustle of the most gorgeous city in the world, Bern. But it was the warm welcome and phenomenal atmosphere in the courtyard for dinner that really make this an unforgettable experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 nights here.Wonderful ,cheerful and helpful front desk staff ,restaurant staff and room cleaning staff.Bed ,linens,towels,bathroom-all high quality. Breakfast had many healthy options,including freshly made breads , cereals ,fish,dried fruits ,nuts,soft-boiled eggs,cheeses,home-made fruit jams and daily-made fruit cocktail( it was NOT from a can!) .I also appreciated that they made me a soy cappuccino every morning. The hotel was 35% of the price of comparable hotels in Gstaad,a quick 4 -minute train ride away.The train ran hourly but the buses ran every 10/15 minutes-so never a problem . The train stop (Saanen) is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Saanen is much more authentic a town than Gstaad,and more interesting. Next to the hotel is a small farmers market-type store selling fruits,vegetables,nuts,grains-everything,really. I slept with the windows open every night-it was that quiet. Lovely pace! Excellent base from which to sample the various ski runs nearby.

The hotel is lovely. The terrace has a beautiful view. The spa is wonderful. The breakfast was great and the staff kindly kept mine for me later. The staff were incredibly kind. The hotel provides a lift pass free of charge.
