The room we were offered was exquisite and had a gorgeous view of the garden trees filled with a majestic palette of autumn colours. The ground floor offers several living areas, which in our case were beautifully decorated for Christmas. We particularly enjoyed relaxing next to the fireplace. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Chateau Charles is truly a wonderful Bed&Breakfast and we will return many times.

The chateau is in a residential/wooded area above Huy and very quiet. Our accomodation consisted of a bedroom and a sitting room. Both rooms were large with high ceilings furnished with antique furniture. (The bed had a modern and comfortable matress) There was shared sitting area with fridge. A wonderful breakfast consisiting of home made and local produce was served by the friendly host. At the rear of the property a large, sunny and well tended garden with sitting area
We were in the Ardennes for a weekend with our motorcycle and were looking for a quiet, luxurious place. Then we ended up at the pool house. Despite the quiet location, you can walk to the center in 10 minutes. Furthermore, the house looks great, modern and clean, also kindly helped by the owner Ludivine. Would definitely recommend!
Guests can use the owner's kitchen at ground floor, while enjoying a dedicated space at 1st floor/mezzanine: a common living room equipped with sofa, TV, baby-foot, pool table, fridge, bar table and free coffe facilities (coffee caps, nice selection of tea/herbal tea and cookies). Spatious commun bathroom, with free toiletries and powerful hairdryer. Peaceful view over the green valley behind the house and quiet country neighborhood.
Beautiful countryside setting. Complete kitchen equipment, many kitchen utensils. Lots of board games and books available. The reality is more beautiful than the published photos. Close to cycling and hiking trails.
The accommodation was spacious, very clean. It is very well equipped. The location is beautiful with stunning views. The quiet is a pleasant change from the city. If you enjoy nature and exploring the countryside, this place is perfect. With car you have the bonus of being near charming small towns and villages. We went to Leuven for the day, it was lovely and is well the hours drive there. To come back to Gites des etangs a Montzen was wonderful. Thank you to our host.
Amazing quiet location and the hotel is indeed in a castle which is luxurious but cozy at the same time. Staff was excellent, the room was very nice and comfortable, everything was perfect!
The house is located in a very quiet countryside neighbourhood. If the weather is nice, it's a great place to stay. It's good for a couple or a family of 4 to stay. The kitchen appliances were quite complete. Since there are no stores around, this really helps to cook.
Amazing hospitality - thank you very much to all the staff for being so flexible and accommodating! They helped me find a quiet space to work and also gave us good hiking tips for a short hike near to the hostel. Such a lovely, warm and cosy space after rainy weekend of hiking!
Exceptionally well equipped place to stay. Quiet, countryside, public transport on the doorstep, lovely quiet village, visited as base to do the Nordschleife as well as SPA GP. Lilly ab excellent host with Michael the 'ínterpreter'. Cannot recommend this property high enough, should you need a well appointed, luxury place to stay!
