Very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. We loved the wildlife and the tranquillity. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful.

Lovely view from the balcony down to the billabong where kangaroos congregate at dusk.

Välibasseini ja mullivanniga Tropical Coast Retreat asub 20 hektari suurusel vihmametsal ja aedadel. Ja. Fabulous property ... amazing gardens and scenery. I was in the first caravan which had a lovely enclosed shady yard with gazebo +chairs / table. Total privacy. The caravan is vintage but has everything you need and the bed was very comfy. Loved that the dogs (2 x dachshunds) could be contained in the small yard (very handy when you went to the bathroom which is about 10m away). The bathroom was very clean with shower, WC , handbasin, and towels. I saw inside the cabins when I arrived (as Veronica gave me a tour of the property and the other guests hadn't come yet). The cabins are modern with fenced in patios for the dogs but to be honest, the caravan had much more privacy and the enclosed yard with grass was perfect. So I would book the caravan again over a cabin (even with the walk to the bathroom!). The swimming pool was lovely. But my most favourite like of the property is that you could take the dogs off leash and walk around everywhere. The dogs just loved it. The owners Rick and Veronica were very helpful and are obviously dog people. I never knew the Tweed Hinterland was so stunning and will definately be back for a return visit.

Very beautiful house with wooden floors and lots of attention to detail. Very good atmosphere. Very peaceful location. We also loved the goats and ducks.
