You can barbecue and relax in the on-site garden. Beautiful and clean room. Wonderful breakfast and great location. Host was also amazing! Wish we had more time to stay a few more days!

This private country estate is located directly on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a 10-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang. Landhaus zu Appesbach features a gourmet restaurant, a private beach, and a garden with English-style lawns. The place has an old, yet rich feel. Dark wood floors, a huge room with a bed, bath and a beautiful room view to the lake. The breakfast was the best I've had in Austria, and the staff was very accommodating. We've also had dinner to celebrate our anniversary, and the dinner was amazing! Beautiful presentation and taste. The place has a beach bar and a private beach, although when we stayed the lake temp was a bit cold to swim. I would come again!

Run by an English family, Landhaus Fay B&B is located in the village of Perneck, 3 km from Bad Ischl and its nearby lakes in the centre of the Salzkammergut region. St Wolfgang, Hallstatt and its salt mines, Lake Gosausee and the Dachstein West and Dachstein Krippenstein ski areas are within a 30-minute drive. Personal approach and positive energy of owners.
