We loved our stay at Terra Casa de Campa. Although it is a little way out of town, the drive was well worth it for the location and space. The Casa is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable (I slept better here than anywhere in Argentina to the sounds of the creek running past our window), and the breakfast is one of the best we've had in Argentina as well. Guillermo and his family are so lovely and welcoming. It was truly a delight! We would definitely stay here again if visiting Cachi. I loved that there is no WiFi in the house. A local sim is able to connect to the network in some parts of the Casa, but my eSim was not able (just something to note if this matters to you!).

Casa de CAMPO HUAKA HUASY is situated in Cachí and offers a garden and a terrace. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. I'm glad I was there on a clear night; it's a place you can see all the stars from. This is a very spacious and well-appointed cottage in a super-serene location. Woke up to probably the best Andes vista I found during my time in Salta. It's a very cute getaway with a lot of character, sheep and dogs on the property, and the hosts were friendly, flexible and accommodating. Wish I stayed longer.

Posada de las Viñas is a 3-star property situated in Tolombón. This country house features free private parking and a concierge service. I don't normally give 10's, because then how do you rate those places that are truly exceptional. Posada de las Vinas is the epitome of exceptional. Gustavo and Alicia are warm and gracious hosts. The other staff are just as nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. The food and the wine... oh my God!! We shared New Year's Eve with Gustavo and Alicia, their family and friends, and the other guests. Dinner was three hours, featuring the Argentinian epitome of BBQ - the Asado, and excellent wine from the vines growing only a few meters away. Liz and I speak very little Spanish, but we really felt like part of the family - pool time, walking with the dogs through the vineyard, reading on the balcony. It's not fancy, but if you want good down-home comfort this is the place to be.

The best accommodation we have ever stayed in, a beautiful property, a whole ranch for the 20 of us. With people there for anything we need, from making the best dinner in the world, breakfast, to doing laundry.

The gardens and surrounding area, with the birds and wildlife were so beautiful and wonderful to relax in. Breakfast was very good, a wide choice of freshly cooked options as well as cereals, sweet pastries and cakes, juices and a variety of teas and coffees, served in the beautiful dining room. Dinner was always delicious, with locally sourced produce and superb wine. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful in organising trips and transfers.

Finca Valentina is a cosy place to relax and enjoy the neighbourhood of Salta. Amazing decor, staff and food. They arrange everything for you (excursions, food, sports, books etc)
