Welcome was great! Food excellent and great a choice of wines. Heated blankets was so necessary which was provided for in a very comfortable bed. The couple that run Swartberg Country Manor were very friendly, courteous, professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to cater for all our needs. This is our second time that we have stayed there and it only got better!
The property was nestled just below the Swartberg Pass with amazing views and peaceful quiet. The room was comfortable and had all the essential amenities, with a beautiful view from the patio.
The restaurant evening dinner service was truly amazing, with beautifully prepared local cuisine and the breakfast was generous and delicious.
The staff were truly exceptional and went above and beyond to offer a great service.
Very friendly family/hosts. On arrival the hot tub was heated & ready for relaxing.🤩 Peaceful, quiet, nature setting with breathtaking views of the valley/waterfall/sunset! Two hiking trails to follow - leading to the waterfall & bush pool. This small farm prides itself on using only renewable energy (solar, batteries & gas) The apartment, adjacent to owners' home, has a cozy woodstove in the main bedroom adding to the romantic setting. On departing, you feel like you are leaving family.
