The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We were made to feel so welcome by all of the Holden Manz family. They have delicious wines and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience. Would totally recommend staying here.

The old Dutch manor is delightful, with a wonderful view of the Franschhoek valley. The rooms are ridiculously large, and we spent a wonderful Christmas here, also thanks to the staff, who we so attentive. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Located on a wonderful farm property,on the left as you approach the town. I felt like I was somewhere in the countryside of France. It's rustic and charming and unpretentious. We stayed in the main common area upstairs in a loft room, which was cozy with a fireplace. The bed slept well with a luxurious open bath tub and lovely large patio area, which looked out onto huge trees and different mountains views. The staff felt like family and made us feel so welcome. It was a wonderful short stay, and we would definitely consider it again.
I loved everything about this property and the beautiful host. Home was immaculate, nice linen, well furnished, olde world charm. Very accommodating host. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of firewood for the fire. Big spacious rooms. We will definitely be returning.
Petit Ermitage is perfectly located in a quiet street just a stones throw away from all the cafes and restaurants. The property is immaculately presented inside and out, not to mention the peaceful pool area which was a private sanctuary for reading my book in the afternoon sunshine. James the host was extremely accommodating and a lovely man to say the least. Special shoutout to Norma who cooked up a delicious feast each morning at breakfast.

Beautiful setting, with views of the mountains spread before you. Close to the centre of Franschoek but not on top of the town, so it's quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast. Simple, clean room with a fireplace that apparently works, which will be nice in winter.
The location is excellent. Before the busy main street of Franschhoek, but still very close to everything, a little piece of heaven. Quiet, peaceful with the sounds of nature all around. The wind in the trees, the little river running in front of the cottage and the lovely bird song. The swimming pool to cool down in, after a walk through the surrounding vineyards, the fire place in the cool evenings and the clean, comfy, cottage. The coffee machine and delicious rusks, where an extra bonus. Thank you Michelle, it was wonderful.
Wonderful stay in the vineyards! Ideally located in Franschhoek, La Cotte Farm is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, relax and visit the region. Our Forest cottage was very quiet & pretty. All the staff is very kind, everything was perfect and we would love to come back one day! We highly recommend La Cotte Farm!
