Nice environment quiet and peaceful...Loadshedding not so lekker....no warning just no lights and no generator back up for rooms...Our room was thatch but cozy. We got bitten by something unfortunately from grass thatch..Toilets did not flush after loadshedding but maintenance man fixed problem quickly. Breakfast good. Lunch helpings generous...
The area and location are very pretty and scenic. The accommodation was separate and quiet with even a full occupation of the Hotel it was never known. The drive to and from the Hotel over the 4 days was very pleasant and peaceful. Alot of attractions in the area, midlands meander. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, which ensured a very nice stay.
Everything was wonderful - beautiful surroundings - slightly far from central Midlands but very quiet & peaceful. Dinner was good but slightly over priced. The welcome from the dogs was a true blessing :)
The cottage wa spacious and the rooms very well equipped. Beds were comfortable and all heating devices worked well. The wood for the fireplace was restocked every day, and fresh towels were provided each day. The property was peaceful and quiet and also spacious enough to explore and visit the cows and goats. A wonderful experience all round. Anna, the room carer was very helpful and friendly. Thanks you for creating a paradise getaway.
Dargle Forest Lodge was wonderful for family bonding. Myself and kids played pool and had lovely walks. The scenery and nature is beautiful and it is very peaceful. It's close enough to go for day drives and adventure a bit and then come back to the peace and quiet of nature. We had a wonderful time.
Beautiful house and location. The style of the house is excellent for entertaining with enough quiet spots to satisfy everyone. Very peaceful. A great place to relax, read, go on the dam with the boats, fly fish. Great Wifi and nice to have DSTV for the sport fans!
