It's a wonderful ecolodge with lots of privacy and tranquility. If you want to experience the countryside of Uruguay without being far from a touristic city, this is the spot. Everything was just perfect - from the amazing shower to the internet access, to the comfy bed, and the very convenient and delicious food they serve in the restaurant they also have in the property. The breakfast was delicious and homemade. I cannot stress enough how happy we were to stay there. It was a really magic night❤️

The location is perfect, right in the historical center close to all the attractions, restaurants, bars, and more. The room was nice. The bed was big and the mattress comfortable. It was also very quiet. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Pleasant, clean, and quiet. Friendly staff and the hotel is close to both the ferry and bus terminals, and to the old town. The room wasn't large but fine for one person The bathroom was nice with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was a simple continental fare. I would stay at this hotel again. Most people come to Colonia on a day trip from Buenos Aires, but it is worth staying the night as it is much quieter, you take in the sunset and there are a number of really pleasant restaurants a bar. The property was only a 3 minute walk from the ferry port, which made it ideal for our early ferry back in the morning. It was quiet while we stayed and had the first night to ourselves.

I had a great stay at Le Vrero. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a fridge where you can store some food. The bathroom was good, great water pressure and soft towels. The bed was also comfortable. There is a ceiling fan and an AC. The AC had a bit of trouble cooling the room but in combination with the ceiling fan I managed to get a good night's sleep. The road outside is a rather quiet road. The staff is attentive and helpful.

Located right on the edge of the town, a small country house hotel with very charming service and good food. We stayed in a small house in the garden which was luxuriously kitted out.

Nice quiet location that allows you to walk into the town and through the park at the side of the river. Secure parking. Swimming pool. Very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast. Dinner in the open plan restaurant with a reception area with an open fire. Bonus of a family of Toros (national bird of Uruguay) poking around the lawn in the morning for a bit of bird watching!
