Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Fantastic location and great facilities. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a hot tub with great views. We were particularly impressed with the air-conditioning, nice quiet modern units as opposed to the noisy self contained products that are prevalent in many hotels and holiday let in the US, it made for a undisturbed and comfortable sleep every night.
It wasn’t as luxurious as I expected with glamping, but comfortable. The room was very cold, it was hard to start the fire, they should have people helping out when it’s your first time in a tent like this. The food was ok, not enough variety for a 3 day stay, the site was very far from the town so we had to eat in the site. Definitely a great experience, except the crazy price they were charging for star grazing, that should be free in a place like this. Definitely too expensive for what it offered.
We had been used to Luxury Glamping, so we were looking forward to our adventure at Under Canvas.
The checkin was very efficient and staff were amazing, we were taken to our Luxury tent. Bed was fabulous , it had a window to check the night stars and an en-suite bathroom.
It also had a stove for warmth and we were shown exactly how to make the fire.
Bed was very comfortable food was excellent.
Room was very spacious and clean. The mini fridge was great for prepping food for hiking in the park the next day. The location is decently close for being outside for Springdale. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay and would come back to stay in the future.
We enjoyed glamping! The tents were cool with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking all day. Smores was fun too! The view was amazing!
Amazing location, really peaceful and quiet. Our kids 2 and 4 absolutely loved it. The fire and s’mores at night were fun, really enjoyed everything about this place.
This hotel is a 15 minute drive to the entrance of Zion National Park. Nice breakfast, comfortable 2 King room, quiet, and a good-sized hot tub for the cool April evenings. The pool looked lovely too. There are no restaurants within walking distance to the hotel, but Balcony One in Virgin was outstanding. From this hotel, drive across Highway 9 onto Kolob Terrace Road for a beautiful scenic drive through Kolob Canyon (which is part of Zion) where we found some fabulous overlooks and great hiking trails.
