Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The room was perfect and the property had a huge garden that was very peaceful to wake up to. Nice and quiet area and very friendly host. Breakfast was great too. Will def stay again
A new place located in a very quiet rural area a few kilometers from Moshi, the perfect hotel to recover after 6 days trekking Kilimanjaro. Lots of laundry (clothes, shoes and even my backpack), all taking care in a few hours.
Gabriel the owner, together with Patricia and the team are all very friendly. Probably the best place I have stayed since the beginning of my trip in Africa 6 weeks ago. If you are unlucky to find the place fully booked, come at least for a drink in the garden and a meal, for sure the best in town !
It was lovely to stay a few days away from the city noises and chaos! A beautiful and comfortable guest house where you can chill in the peaceful surrounding. or for hikers, there are so many hiking trails start right from this place. Food is amazing!! Really enjoyed some local dishes they served! And the staff, they are the ones that makes this place special! Also enjoyed hiking to Mataruni waterfalls with Justin!
And they even surprised me with birthday cake and song!!!
This is a lovely little spot, outside of Moshi Town but relatively peaceful and with views of Kilimanjaro from the pool. The wifi worked well most of the time, and the service from staff was excellent as we were there during a quiet week. The breakfast and food on offer at the restaurant was good. The staff were really helpful in organising tuk tuks into town and a driver to take us to the waterfall for a reasonable price. We enjoyed being able to relax by the pool in the sun before starting our Kilimanjaro trek!
friendly and welcoming staff. peaceful and quiet location outside of town but still able to walk. breakfast on the upstairs patio is a nice way to start the day!
Staff were very friendly and helpful in ensuring my stay was good. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were spacious and fit for purpose. The place is located in a quiet and peaceful area.
Really nice vibe, lovely well kept garden. The breakfast is amazing and plentiful in the lovely garden setting. Really good value for money. Close to Moshi center but quiet and peaceful. Owner / staff really helpful to book taxis, order Tuk Tuk etc… Good wifi ! They let us do some laundry and hang our clothes to dry in the garden.
This place and it’s people will always be in my heart. It’s a lovely, simple guesthouse. It’s remote location means it’s also peaceful and quiet, and you have the most wonderful view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The food is prepared with a lot of love and care and always tasted wonderful.
I was welcomed and taken care of with kindness and joy and also introduced to local culture which I will be forever grateful for.
