Arrived at 2am and the front desk staff were available and very friendly to check us in. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The courtyard setting is calm and peaceful and the hotel bar is a nice quiet place to relax.

Great breakfast, very well-kept place, beautiful restaurant and very helpful staff. An hour from the airport during peak hours a little more due to traffic but the place is quiet and peaceful. Proper size room with a large bed.

The hotel was just as I expected - it was quiet, by the sea, merged with nature, peaceful... I loved it because it was just what I needed in the hectic Dar es Salam. The room was clean, staff very polite and nice, the breakfast was very simple; eggs, some pancakes and cakes, but I realized that was the case in all my hotels in Zanzibar and Tanzania, so could be that it is just the way it is. The food was great - I also had dinner there.

Liked the service at the reception, clean room, good swimming pool 25m well taken care of, in general good. Relatively old "luxury" place, high ceilings, stone, a change from over priced boutique hotels. AC that works . Good views over the beach. Quieter place than Dar.

The hotel is a bit remote, but very nice and with friendly staff. It's a good place to chill out. The rooms are functional, but not luxurious (what you expect as an European in a boutique hotel). Food is good. There are a few stores within walking distance, nothing more. The beach is unfortunately like the sea dirty and not suitable for swimming. The beach is public and there are a lot of locals at the beach, which is very nice. Recommended especially if you are looking for peace and quiet.
