The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The location is very convenient as it is along the Old Street and within walking distance from most attractions/sites in Hengchun. It is also very close to Bus transfer station.
Though it is along the busy Old Street, it is also very quiet.
The room was nice, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
The location was great in a quiet street but still only 5 minutes walk to supermarket/convenience stores and 10 minutes to the centre of town and the main bus stop.
We could wash our clothes in the washing machine for free!
Room was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described. The quiet out of town location suited me well and it was easy to get to sleep. Value for money was excellent given the location and season.
The breakfast was soooo nice which was literally the local Taiwanese food. It included a plate of fruits, free flow coffee/soy milk and toast/egg toast/taro cake. The host was super nice and friendly.I love the room so much, especially the bed, which was the biggest I've ever seen in all the hostels I've stayed in. Also the whole lace was super clean and good for those who want a quiet stay but also cozy vibe.

It is a little off the town, but it was the reason, why I choose it. Very quiet place, 10-15 minutes by foot to the Hengchun, 2 minutes by car. Breakfast was very tasteful and different every day. Even got some local fruits when I arrived. It was a really good base for my exploration of the southern Taiwan.
The room and bathroom were very spacious! The shower and water pressure very good. There's a laundry machine that can be used for free, including detergent. It's a very quiet place away from any traffic noise. Staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.
