Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Does not waste the natural environnment, very well integrated into the landscapes.
Being the only accomodation inside the national park is a unique advantage, which gives you the possibility to start hiking right away, whatever the time, and without any constraint.
Convenient restaurant (with fantastric views) and mini grocery, extremely helpful for hiking.
Various types of accomodation options, from camping sites to fancy room.
Good and filling breakfast.
Cute terrace outside and very nicely furnished facilities inside
Amazing location with very convenient rooms and facilities. Pleasant atmosphere within the main building and all the surroundings. Rooms and common areas very clean and comfortable, plenty areas to relax after trekkings and hikes.
Very helpfull staff with polite and friendly attitude.
Good breakfasts and nice bistro on site.
Nice and clean hostel! It has a loundry service, drying room, free sauna and shared kitchen. We had really nice view from the room; to the lake and mountains.
Before midsummer, there where almost no one else there, so the whole place was very peaceful and quiet. The room itself and hostel services and spaces were better than in Abisko Guesthouse we visited last year.
The location of STF Abisko Turiststation is just perfect: You can start hiking, skiing etc. right from the front door. Whatever equipment you might need, can be rented in the shop, which also offers a limited range of food and drinks. The breakfast is ok, though not impressive. Dinner is also ok. - You can get all the information you might need from publications in the hotel or from the very helpful and friendly staff.
Great location, many hiking trails start from the property. Comfy beds. Super-friendly staff. Sauna is good, and included. On-site shop sells frozen meals.
The cabin is at the famous hiking route start, relatively new and good facilities. The restaurant nearby is also quite good. Cabin can sleep 6+ person and located in a quiet surrounding
Nice one-night-stop in a good location on the way to Lofoten. There would have been a lot to see for nature lovers in Abisko too.
The hostel was not luxury but offered simple rooms and good kitchen facilities.
There were hiking trails beginning in 2-3 kilometers.
The staffs were really helpful and cooperative. The place was at a walkable distance from the railway station.
The lobby and library were a great place to relax even outside the room.
Sauna was great specially after a long trekking or hiking.
Overall a good place to stay.
