Rustic charm in a lovely old saxon village. Off the main road, but accessible and good striking distance to other historic sites. We arrived at dinner time and asked in advance for a meal to be prepared. The food was excellent. Kids enjoyed the cats.

Everything was perfect! We were greeted by Cosmina and Noru and were given a tour of the entire place. When we stayed there we were lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves and we really enjoyed the silence. Cosmina took care of us from cooking us breakfast to making sure we have everything we need.

The place is an oasis of tranquility. It brings back memories from grandparents home. The yard is large and our dog, was very happy to roam. The owner, Marian was welcoming and helped us book the most delicious supper and breakfast, at somebody in the village. Of course, everything was locally sourced, bio and ultra fresh!
And we enjoyed a quiet evening in front of the fireplace.

Lovely, warm welcome. Big cozy room, excellent tasty dinner and breakfast. A personal traditional experience. A haven after a long walk on the Transilvanica trail.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Room was great with ample space and very clean. Location is absolutely awesome and really quiet and the lady taking care of the place was really attentive and nice with us.
Inner courtyard is great with green space, tables and chairs. You have access to a fridge as well as a kitchen.
Breakfast was really good and the owner was very nice and responsive.
This place is across the road from King Charles’s House. There is a nice cafe across the road as well and a mini market next door.
Doubt there is a better place in Viscri to stay!
It is a wonderful quiet cosy place. I slept very well on high quality mattresses, in a warm, spotless clean room after enjoying the most delicious meal prepared by Vio.

Excellent choice ... one of the most peaceful and cozy place I've ever been. The room is very elegant furniture and clean, and the breakfast was tasty and rich.
Wonderful place to use as a retreat for slow living and disconnecting. The whole property has been restored and looks absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfy, the restaurant is just so cozy, and the village is exactly the quiet magical place you´d imagine. The food was fantastic and the owners lovely.
Beautiful, quiet garden. It is shared with another (twin) house. Bring a blanket or a folding chair with you to enjoy it! Inside the house you get the grandma's home / ethnography museum experience, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
