Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was a nice quiet area toward the mountains, the host was very pleasant, and the room was nice, clean, and quiet. There were things we liked about it, and things that we did not, but overall the experience was positive.
The house is located perfectly near Retezat National Park, close to the hiking trails in that area. It is quite a new construction, very well maintained and clean. There are a lot of common areas outside and inside the house where you can spend your time. It has a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue area, garden and parking spaces.
There is also breakfast available upon request. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit that area.

Very nice and clean house with downstairs dining room, kitchen and bathroom, two upstairs bedrooms, each with separate bathrooms, and large balcony. Beautiful, spacious outdoor pergola, with cooking, grilling and dining facilities. Close to Retezat mountains, in a small, quiet village. The landlady is very kind and helpful.
Our hosts were very gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are not automatically included but can be requested in advance. Food was very good. Delicious, traditional Romanian fare. We enjoyed 1 breakfast and 1 dinner on the property and enjoyed several dinners at restaurants recommended by the hotel owner.
The location is very close to Rezatat National Park and many excellent hiking trails.
So far the best and coziest place in Romania we've stayed at during the trip. It's difficult to decide what we've liked the most — the amazingly hearty breakfasts and dinners, the mountain view and a huge balcony, pretty interiors or extremely friendly and helpful hosts who spoke perfect English. The place is like 10 minutes drive to Retezat National Park which makes it a perfect spot to stay even when the weather is not so good for hiking. It's sad that we stayed here for 3 nights only.
