This is a beautiful restored facility, with a great history. Family run and they take pride in their work. Ugo our host is exceptional. The rooms are more than adequate. The Honesty Bar is a great addition, but perhaps the liquor is over priced. There is a clean swimming pool. The breakfast is complete, but perhaps it could start before 09:00. The location is a 30 minute walk from the village.

Location is very convenient, close to the centre of the village Zambujeira do Mar (less than 10 min by car) and to some other beautiful beaches. The place was exactly like the pictures. We also enjoyed a lot the bread offered for breakfast. Good value for money.

We had a peaceful week in Cerro da Fontinha, being served by Miguel and Ana that made sure that we have everything we need, from a bike parked on our house, to dry wood for our chimney.
Breakfast served in the room at time desirable, room clean service every day, is like to be in a luxury hotel but in the middle of Aletejo.

Amazing location, in the middle of the countryside. Very good facilities (two swimming polls, one warm and one cold, gym etc.) Vert nice restaurant/bar area with fires for chilling out in the evenings, excellent restaurant (local food but also excellent wood fired pizza oven.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The staff was very friendly and informing upon arrival. Although the girl didn't speak English well, she made a good effort so we would understand each other. It's a small, family owned hostel and it was quiet at night. The bathroom is shared, but only with a few other guests, so it wasn't a problem for us. Also you can do laundry here, a big plus if you are hiking the fishermen trail! :) Totally recommend staying here!
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean and modern. It was quiet and dark at night. There was a large shower. A good location for the hiking trail. The breakfast was good and the cake at breakfast was excellent!

The host was available all the time via internet and gave us good tips about local restaurants. This place is perfect for someone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful place with beautiful nature.

Breakfasts were excellent, with fruit, fruit juice and coffee, croissants, breads, ham and cheese, as well as a cooked meal (scrambled eggs and bacon). A lounge is available to help yourselves coffee and cookies, 24 hours.
Being from the city, the quietness and peacefulness of the countryside, waking up to the birds singing and the amazing morning view of the horses having their morning snack on the fields is reenergizing! My dogs also loved it :) and couldn’t find a more suitable and romantic stay for a couple!
Very friendly and helpful staff. The surrounding was extremely peaceful and quiet. Perfect to relax. You wake up only hearing sheep and the cute cats. Very good and lovable served breakfast.

There was a cafe right next door that opened quite early, but I noticed too late, but the option of morning coffee pre-walking is there.
