Property is exceptional, an old barn turned into loft. Plenty of space, 3 bathrooms and very clean. Breakfast was the highlight of the morning, each day they brought it in a basket with fresh flowers. Coffee, milk, juice and sugar were replenished every day and more than enough dishes and cutlery is available. De-humidifier worked its magic so no dampness even though the climate on Azores is very humid. Friendly host and 10/10 experience!

We had an incredible stay at Pico do Refúgio, enjoying the unique experience of being the only guests for the week in this charming former tea factory. The location, atmosphere, fireplace, and cozy interior truly made our trip special. It was such a pleasure to return after a busy day to a place that felt like home.
Ana was a fantastic host, and the service was exceptional. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, and after a couple of delayed flights, we were warmly welcomed with appetizers upon arrival. We especially appreciated the privacy and peacefulness of the place, as well as the stunning surroundings, including Santa Bárbara Beach and Lagoa do Fogo. Simply amazing!

The amazing garden inside of this boutique hotel makes you immediately feel relaxed. What is also super cool is that there are different fruit trees around our bungalow, which both the owner and Luis told us we can just pick the fruit and try, they all taste amazing. Also, the super short distance to the hot spring is another extra point, which is super convenient to have a less crowded late night hot spring session:)

Everything was excellent! A great house, there is everything for a comfortable stay. Clean and comfortable. They really took care of everything. The owner of the house is a very friendly and helpful person. The house is located in a picturesque location. This is exactly my recommendation
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
If you are looking for a quiet location in historic surroundings - this is it. numerous places to sit and relax around the monastery including the roof and garden.
Mrs Elisabete waited until 2:30am for us to come over, standing outside the house and waving as we drove up to the accommodation from the airport. It was very nice. The flat is perfectly clean, situated in a very convenient location from where it is close to everywhere on the island. After leaving the flat, we were able to store our luggage in the innkeeper's garage and peacefully spend the day exploring without worrying about suitcases (the plane left at 7:20pm).

Great location, perfect cleanliness and wonderful, helpful owners. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you may need during your vacation. The town is charming and a great base for exploring the island. You will also be happy if you plan a quiet holiday by the beach. 10/Be sure to try the cookies from the confectionery shop downstairs. It is not without reason that they are known all over the island.
We had an amazing stay! The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, they made our stay even more special. They even left a birthday treat for my partner. Breakfast was also top notch - delicious local cheese, bread, scrambled eggs, fruits, pastries, everything is fresh and tasty. Soundproofed rooms, despite having window facing through street, it was very quiet even on a Saturday night. Recommend this hotel 👍🏻

We (a couple with a 2-year-old child) stayed at Quinta dos Curubas for one week in May. The cabin is simply furnished (for example no dishwasher), but very clean. There was a baby bed arranged. We loved the portch to sit outside, with a view of Vila Franca do Campo. The gardens are very beautiful with lots of flowers. Our son loved to run after the chicken. It is a quiet place, very well located to discover the whole island (by car). We would very much recommend to stay here!
The apartment was well-equipped (coffee, washing machine, oil, salt, sugar, a welcome present, etc) and located (less than 10 min walk from the see-side, the main street to get the highway nearby, good space for parking the car, among others). All clean and in excellent condition; bed of good quality and quiet neighborhood.
