Second time here, the place is absolutely amazing. Huge property surrounded by vineyards, beautiful old main house full of history (there’s even a chapel inside), plus three separate villas. We stayed in the main building and were lucky to be the only people there on a rainy Monday and Tuesday in October. It felt like visiting family in the countryside. There is a garden and all the fruit and vegetables come from there, everything we ate (and we ate a lot) was amazingly fresh and tasty. Fernanda, the hostess/chef/housekeeper is such a lovely warm and genuine person, she’s definitely what sets this place apart from other similar places. Make sure to book a dinner there! We are already planning our next visit.

Perfect for a couple and really appreciated the Welcome Basket. It set us up nicely for our first night. The freshly delivered bread was also a nice treat. Sonia & Tiago we’re great hosts. The view from the front door must have come right out of the Douro Valley tour books.

The house was very clean and had everything you need ( well set up) the hostess ( Paula) she was excellent.
They were in the middle of picking and processing grapes for wine making and Paula gave us a tour/explaining the process. The views were spectacular and if you do not mind driving it is ok. The property has an in-ground pool.

Very nice facility. We only stayed one night but this would be an excellent location for a longer stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The view! The quietness! The uniqueness! Actually the pictures don’t really captures the unique premises. The area is big enough for a stroll, while visiting the farm animals or picking some fruits. There are 4 (5th in the making) stand alone places you can book, all with there own placing, view and swimming pool.
We booked one of the Linho’s, which we think had the best view and direct access to a pool. The vista over the valley is unmatched!
We had a wonderful two-day stay at the hotel and would like to express our appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Filipe. He was very kind, patient, and solution-oriented, providing us with all the support we needed. He help made our trip unforgettable. The hotel itself is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, offering a peaceful escape from the modern world. We deeply appreciate the natural beauty and service by Filipe.
Our stay was great from beginning to end. The garden and the vineyards were the perfect setting to inspire peacefulness. And the breakfast was so good! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Room was very specious, very nice country house design. View of the property was amazing especially for sunset. Host was super kind, she replied many questions to plan out trip instantly before our stay.
If I haf to have one sentence comment for this property, it is much better than the photos on the booking. I definitely suggest this place to stay.
Beautiful view of the river surrounded by an extremely quiet natural setting. Our gory, Don Pedro, is a truly wonderful person who we really enjoyed meeting and with whom we enjoyed sharing a very special 40 year old Porto from his personal reserve. We should have stayed one week had our responsibilities allowed.
We had a motorcycle and they gave us instructions on were to better place it... We went on the weekend for the village parties and we were warned ahead by the owner so we were counting with lots of noise. Surprisingly the room, closer to the stage, was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable!
Very spacious and clean property which was furnished to a high standard and had an old fashioned charm and a great view over the surrounding countryside. The housekeeper, Elsa, gave us a warm welcome and explained where everything was even though her English was as limited as our Portuguese. She also provided some fresh vegetables from her garden which was a nice bonus. Overall we had an excellent and comfortable stay which we wished could have been longer.
