A wonderful properly. Very thoughtfully set out, decorated and furnished.
The location is beautiful up on the hill and being able to see down both directions of the Douro river.
Bed and bedding were superb and comfortable.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The dinner was excellent and of course the wine choice was great too.
The tour which is included in the cost of the room is excellent too.
We will return to stay here for longer next time!

The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. While it was the tail end of the harvest season, it was still very interesting to see some of the work in progress and we were encouraged to go into the vineyard to watch and to ask any of the workers questions that we might have at that time. Regrettably, we were unable to enjoy an in-house dinner at the Morgadio because the venue was involved with the local Wine Festival which was taking place at that time. We learned from some fellow guests that they had been able to dine there a few nights beforehand and it was an incredible dining and educational experience which offered a topnotch tasting menu including wine pairings with each course. The intimate atmosphere and the charming hosts made for night that they said was truly the highlight of their entire trip to date.

This is a gem, perched high above the Douro looking down towards Pinhao. The view was magnificent, the property nestled in a vineyard up on the hills. I wish we had been there at time to enjoy the pool, and had been able to stay to take advantage of the in-house cuisine, but alas.

The house is stunning—immaculately maintained with an incredible view. Patricia, the owner, is a wonderful host who made us feel warmly welcomed from the start. She’s poured so much love into every detail of the property, and it’s even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Everything was spotless, and each morning, she prepares a delicious breakfast with every detail thoughtfully considered.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Pedro is an exceptionally helpful host. We are grateful for his kindness and proactiveness. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. Air conditioning kept it cool during a very warm day
The location is excellent! Heart of the Douro valley! This hotel is a jewel that will make you feel you've travelled back in time and yet at the same time you don't feel like you're in a museum where you're afraid to touch anything as it may fall apart. The staff were competent, rooms luxurious, restaurant worth a visit. Breakfast was also very good.

Location was beautiful, lovely view from our upstairs room, lots of outside space to enjoy wine, very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and hard working, and despite being down some staff members, really took time to talk and help us out. Large and beautiful property. The drive out from Pinhoa was lovely. Pinhao was extremely busy and bustling, we were happy to be a little away from that in such a peaceful setting.

It is beautifully situated on the Pinhao river that is peaceful and quiet ; the owners even supply kayaks for use!
It is so peaceful; pretty ; clean ; we felt as if it was our little slice of heaven for a short time. The hosts are very responsive and try and make your stay perfect.
It’s a short 5 minute walk to Pinhao Main Street , which also has great places to eat and wonderful quintas to try;
A small hotel in a perfect location above the town and overlooking the Duoro valley, quiet and peaceful, everything was spotlessly clean, cool air conditioned room despite the heat outside, helpful staff, good breakfast, pool was a welcome bonus.
