Lovely modernized country home with old world charm. We drove all day from the Alentejo region with plans to go to Porto that night but were tired of driving and decided to take a detour from our plans and found ourselves at Casa Valxisto. What a happy detour! I loved everything about this charming accommodation friendly, helpful staff, delicious meals, comfy suite, and a beautiful walk through the old stone village.

We got the tree house and just loved it. We went on a weekday in May and the place was empty and super quiet. All we could hear were birds singing. I don1t know if it is that good when the place is busier. The pool was great and the room super comfy and clean.

If you like nature and tranquility and you want to be very close to Porto, the ICH Inveja Country House is the ideal location. Everything was exceptional, room, bathroom, breakfast, staff, just everything. We are so impressed that we have reserved 2 rooms for 10 days for the summer in July. The owner Paula is an exceptional woman for whom hospitality is very important.
Overall Inveja Country House was very nice. The breakfast was great and the location in the countryside ensured a very quiet night!! Would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area!!

The breakfast was a standard "continental". Basically bread rolls with butter and jam and coffee. The lady that runs this place is wonderful and is very helpful. Our room was adequate. Bathroom was large and very good. Clean, fresh towels every day. The location is quiet and rural. Bird sounds drift through the window.
ICH Inveja Country House offered us lovely and relaxing holiday. The breakfast was rich and it was nice to have a chance to try some typical Portuguese pasteries. The garden is beautiful. We stayed two nights and tried to extend our stay because it was so great but unfortunately for us the place was fully booked. I highly recommend this place.
Breakfast was great and the location is in a very quiet and peaceful place.
