The nicest trip to 1900 ever! Lake, exotic trees, volcano, well kept interior with just enough modern comfort. Sylvia is a great receptionist and we were happy with the houshold help.

The surroundings of the hotel are extraordinary. It reminded me of Bali in the 1990s, before tourism hit the island. Very pristine and simply beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast lounge above the waterfall is exceptional. Breakfast is very good. All staff are amazing, Pamela at breakfast is always smiling, Luis is a gold mine of information and Luisa the owner is a very charming and nice person.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Stunning property - beautiful views over the sea in a quiet part of the island. Immaculately clean throughout, well equipped kitchen, great pool area. The middle house is huge - lots of space and very comfortable! Cannot recommend highly enough.
Spacious, bright home with photo perfect views from every window. The kitchen was fully equipped and all appliances worked flawlessly. The bed was firm but comfy and the excellent heaters kept the damp chill away at night. The neighborhood was quiet and stars sparkled above. Our hostess even left an overflowing basket of goodies on the table and chocolates beside the bed. Every day at BemMequer was magical; we had a wonderful, unforgettable time.
The acommodation was just perfect. The house was spotless clean, spacious, greatly furnished with all one might need to comfortably live even for long term. On top of that, there is a beautiful garden with fireplace, and stunning views of the sunrise. From the house and part of the garden you can see the ocean. The area is super quiet and safe. And the host, Antonio, was so incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming that it made our stay so much better.
