Sonia, the owner, is wonderful! she gives great tips for things to do and see. I especially loved special touch of the local biscuits for breakfast and the explanation of their flavor and ingredients. The bed is great!

Beautiful quiet countryside location. Spacious bright clean rooms. Large shower with ample hot water. Breakfast included good food options. It was very chilly outside but the heater in the room allowed us to control the conditions. Staff turned down our beds while we were at dinner. When we returned we found they had also put hot water bottles under the covers to warm up. Nice touch!

We liked the rustic nature of the house, and the bathroom facilities. The location was attractive, quiet and peaceful. The lockbox access was easy and parking was off street. The facilities were clean. There were nice views of the hill from the street front and a lovely, quirky restaurant around the corner. (Previously an olive oil factory)
Peaceful setting with a view of Monsaraz. Close to hiking trails, wineries, etc. Brand new facilities, unbelievable breakfast, wow to Suzanna and team for impeccable and friendly service. Lovely pool. Great local restaurants in walking distance.
Just the perfect place for a rest and recovery.. Everything was clean and neat, the pool and surroundings are incredible with Alqueva always on the sight, breakfast is very tasty and fresh, staff was 100% friendly and nice on all occasions, always with a smile on their faces, all of them have spoiled our little dog (Ellie) including the other sweet dogs in the villa. all in all, absolutely recommend it - peaceful, quiet and full of positivity, where you can really connect with nature!
The hotel was very well decorated with a nice common area. Room was really nice and comfortable with an amazing view of the lake. Swimming pool and garden area was also very peaceful and quiet. Overall an amazing experience.
Ignore the fact that there is no internet and stay at this delightful cottage in beautiful Monsaraz. It is the perfect location - very quiet and has the luxury of car parking at the door. A beautiful bedroom with a super comfortable bed and quality bedding. We enjoyed the private terrace - which affords lovely views over the valley. The kitchen is equipped with all that we required and there was nice welcome gifts from the host. Everywhere spotlessly clean.
