This little guest house is off the beaten path in a lovely setting in the hills. We loved the owners, John and Margarida; they were so kind and helpful. We felt like guests in their home--which we were. We were able to use the washing machine to wash a week's worth of dirty clothes. The little house is not your average hotel room. It's a little guest house, clean and comfortable. Don't expect it to be modern; it feels more like a little farm house--like a lake cabin or something similar. It suited us so well. It had everything thing we needed. The grounds are lovely with a small swimming pool and views of the surrounding hills.

The rooms are spacious, well iluminated, pleasant, and clean. The beds are comfortable. We could not hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. The garden is well maintained, quiet, and has enough shade spots. The swimming pool is ok for cooling down and playing with family/kids. The breakfast is quite good.

Miguel was an amazing host! Incredibly friendly and helpful. The place itself is very tranquil and well equipped. The pool and the roof terrace were absolutely great. We found out too late Miguel also makes good cocktails, so a recommendation for when you get there, because you should go, no doubt.

The room was very spacious, aircoconditioning was working great and it was really quiet on the streets. The location of the hotel is convenient it's a short walk to Loule old city where you can find cafe's and restaurants. The hotel breakfast had a wide assortment of fruit, bread and drinks. There was plenty of parking space around the hotel.
Beautiful property, each room had its own design theme, luxurious and homely.. location was so peaceful and was perfect to relax and recharge.. loule was just 5 mins in the car for supermarkets and restaurants.. photos do not do this property the justice, it was better than we anticipated..Nadine, welcomed us and was on hand if needed, nothing too much trouble..thank you
This is probably one of our most favourite holidays ,The Villa was amazing, we had everything we needed in it .Location was so peaceful. Think its one of the few holidays where we were totally relaxed. .We did go out a few times but mostly stayed at Villa Eat ,Swim,Read repeated quiet a few times throughout the day. What more could you ask for.

Cute, peaceful and clean guesthouse, perfectly located. It’s just a 5 min walk from the market and is surrounded by loads of good restaurants. The common area, patio and pool is spacious and relaxing. It’s perfect for a quiet weekend getaway and very affordable.
We had a great stay at Quinta da Familia. The hosts are super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The house and swimming pool were clean and there is a beautiful view. It’s very quiet and peaceful around the B&B. We would definitely return here.

Beautiful old house very tastefully decorated with a feel of luxury good shared facilities like fridges tea/coffee making, nice roof terrace and all round peaceful environment so we stayed a second night.
Very centrally located and we managed to park next to the house, otherwise there is free parking a 5 minutes away. Loule has improved a lot from our last visit 10 years ago!
