My partner and I recently had the immense pleasure of staying at Alma Peregrina, and I cannot sing its praises loudly enough! It was a truly special experience and now a treasured memory.
Perfect setting, just off the Camino, peacefulness permeates through the entire property. Diogo and Flavia are perfect hosts, warm and welcoming. The room has many thoughtful touches, including an incredibly comfortable bed and high-quality linens. We also really appreciated the foot bath and handmade bath bomb after a long day cycling!
What truly sets Alma Peregrina apart is the hospitality. We were celebrating a birthday and had an evening together that felt like a reunion of old friends. It was a perfect night with food and drinks; they went above and beyond with a delicious cake and handmade gift. I was incredibly touched. Diogo's recommendations for nearby sights and restaurants in Porto were spot on and hidden gems we wouldn't have found ourselves.
Breakfast was an absolute feast! The fresh home grown tomatoes, perfectly ripe, were some of the best produce I've tasted in Portugal.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Alma Peregrina it is the perfect place for those looking for a quiet peace place. Diogo and Falvia are the most kind hosts that I could ask. The dinner prepared by Flavia with the wine special selected by Diogo was more than perfect. It was a pity that I only stayed for one night. But the camino was waiting for me, and I had to go. I promised to come back one day. Again, thank you both.
Wonderful place! I recommend it to all pilgrims and not only pilgrims. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet, and well-equipped. After a whole day on the road, what I was most happy about was the tub for soaking my feet and salt for my feet 😊The hosts were very nice and hospitable. Before I arrived, Diogo asked me what time I would arrive and when I arrived there was delicious spaghetti bolognese waiting for me. I highly recommend this place to everyone! I will definitely stay here again when I come back 😊
