Amazing colonial house on the side of Furnas lake ! One of best stay in the area if you like peace and autonomy. You are welcome with a basket full of local goods. The house is in its original condition, do not expect a modern accommodation. At the first floor, rooms and bathroom are renovated. The main interest are the location and the services (free access to the neighboring park, kayak, bikes...). Host are very friendly.

Perfect location right at the bank of the Furnas Lake. The house is bigger than the photos show. Super tall ceilings with big windows and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the views. As part of the amenities there is a washer/dryer in the garage, kayaks and bicycles and the key to off-hours access to the garden. Take a path to the waterfall - it is magnificent. Between 30-45 minutes fairly easy walk each way

LOCATION: Ribeiria Quente is a lovely small fishing village with a beach and close access to Furnas and Povoacao. There is a hiking trail just below the property that follows the shoreline and goes on for a few hours. Easy and friendly shopping in the village for fruits, cheese, bread etc. A few good options for dinner in the village. ACCOMODATIONS: We had the smallest of the options, a small cottage, very well thought-out layout to optimize space with a patio and beautiful staircase leading to the infinity pool above. There are other larger options. Book early. Great view of the sea and you can hear the ocean. HOST | ACCEUIL: José, the owner, answers very quickly , lives on the property in an adjacent house and is very helpful.

Perfect stay for vacation! Casa da Quinta is a great and large house which was super clean and has a lot of equipment. The garden is absolutely beautiful.
