Francisco and Lucília renovated their old family estate and converted the summer house next to it into a rental apartment and rooms. The apartment is not fancy or modern like many rental apartments. However, we found it convenient, with everything we needed, and gave us some feeling of family life in Terceira. The quinta is surrounded by a wall and the large garden provides an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty.
Having breakfast with Francisco and Lucília in their interesting house gave us some understanding of life of a community on a small island. We would have been happy to continue talking for a few more hours.
It was an experience very different from our other stays in the Azores. We highly recommend it.

The house is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped too. It has a nice garden and is located in a quiet area. Sandra was very helpful, providing us with information about things to do, restaurants, etc.
We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was immaculate and peaceful. The breakfast basket was perfect and we couldn't have ask for a better host, very flexible and accommodating to our needs.
The view from the room was remarkable - so peaceful and tranquil! Breakfast was excellent, good selection and freshly cooked eggs from the kitchen from very friendly staff was something to look forward to each morning!
The setting is great - you are surrounded by bush and even tree ferns. Very quiet. We booked a lodge with sea view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony.
The staff was great, especially Carla, who gave us a lot of good suggestions, what to visit, where to eat etc.The breakfast is 5 star! We would come back anytime.

Beautiful big house in a perfect location: right by the coast, with an amazing view from the terrace. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, intimate and cozy even for a larger group. Bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Loads of space and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, everything just great. The hosts are super nice and welcoming, gave us lots of advice on what to see and where to go, also provided a lift to the airport in the morning. Highly recommended!
