Very nice guest house. Clean, good decoration and furnishings. Comfortable rooms. You can use the common kitchen/dining room to make tea, for example. Check-in was not difficult. There is private parking. Special thanks to the excellent breakfast with homemade cake and the hospitable hostess who prepared it.

We loved the peace & quiet of the area. Wildlife on the doorstep & lovely walks nearby. And Figo the cat, who will happily guide you to the river.
A variety of breakfasts was brought to us in a basket each day. Little kitchen was handy for evening meals else it's a short drive to restaurants.

Such a beautiful and peaceful location! The house is a lovely mixture between Portugese authenticity and Scandinavian taste, embedded in a nice valley with nothing than the sound of the wind in the trees… The warm welcome and kindness from Raquel and Sandra made us realize again why we love Portugal and Portugese people!
Decor looks very nice, staff was super friendly and tried to go out of their way for you, rooms are, well, roomy, and their patch of river, while a little shallow, is a perfect example of quiet around the water.
the peaceful atmosphere in its surroundings and the huge windows with a view made us willing to stay in rather than going out to explore. it is a marvellous place to stay !!
