We were left stranded in the rain for over four hours. Almost 8 hours from the time when we were supposed to be able to check in. Any instructions. Fortunately, another couple staying in another room was able to help us. The rooms were adequate. The sheets were an awful polyester. it was difficult to sleep.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
I spent one week on San Miguel in this guesthouse. The guesthouse is a typical portuguese house that has a soul. I personally prefer such places more than standard hotels. The place is quiet, in the morning you can hear bird’s. There’s a shared bathroom, only one time I had to wait 5 minutes as another guest was taking a shower. I have only positive impressions from this guesthouse. If you have a rented car, I can definitely recommend it. Really good value for your money.

Big house in small village, surrounded by beutiful nature and several places for hiking. It has shared bathroom, the bedroom was cold, ask for warm blanket (February), the kitchen is fully equipped so buy your own food to cook, also there was not any open restaurant near the house.
