Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Everything was amazing.
If you happen to go to Titicaca, don’t overthink and go to this place. Jose Luis & his wife are amazingly kind. Food is amazing. The room is big, clean & modern. Extremely calm & peaceful. Super walk on the island with amazing views. We have been super lucky and were here during a kind of Carnaval (18th February) and participated to a huge day-party with all the locals. Best memory in Peru.
Richar and his family are wonderful people and hosts. Lucresia is a great cook; she cooked us the best meals. Richar showed us around and we hiked around the beautiful island of Amantani. It really feels like a family. The rooms were very clean and the shower had hot water. Tea, coffee and drinkable water are provided as well. The house is located in Ocosuyo, you can get there with a motorcycle or enjoy everything by hiking there (best to pack light if possible). We would definitely come back.
It was a wonderful stay in allpa tika lodge. The owner family was very welcoming, warm and kind. Thank you for hosting us!
It is a wonderful place to relax and go for walks in the amazing nature with a beautiful view over the lake. It is so peaceful and we loved beeing here to calm down. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitively recommend this place.
Comfortable lodgings, really lovely family cooked for us through our stay and helped us when we couldn't get access to a cashpoint. Bedroom was comfortable and peaceful. Great views over lake Titicaca. Would highly recommend if your looking for an authentic experience.
It has been a great and quiet stay in Amantani at Inca Lodge. The family welcomed us very kindly. Eating local food, they showed us the way to Pachamana and Pachatata. We shared stories on Amantani's life and European life. The room is spacious with an outstanding view. You have plenty of blankets, you won't feel cold.
The stay with Richard, Lucrecia, and Isabel was lovely. They really made us feel part of their family. The food was one of the best we had in Peru. Richard went hiking and fishing with us and always took care of us. Also, they have a heating in the living room, a hot shower, and a clean bathroom. The view on the Titicaca Lake from the room is awesome. I recommend opening the curtain at 5:30 for the best light before sunrise. The daughter Isabel is so cute and loved to play cards with us. We highly recommend staying with Richard and his family!
All the comments that I was reading before about this place were true ;) the place was amazing, the hosts were amazing and the food was incredible..it is worth it, the best choice, we had a great vegan food, better than in any restaurant and the owners were extremely nice. Our room was very clean and quiet.
Adolfo and his family hosted us remarkably, with a full heart. Delicious food, peaceful area. Out of reception you get a genuine experience of Amantani. This is on the less touristic side of the island. Such a great time ☺️.
