I loved the pool area with bar and the location. It was very close to the border and main road to border which was all a bit mad and busy. It felt very serene and quieter. Like a little oasis in the mid of madness. Check in was easy and staff treated our friends and driver ( who were not staying) very well
The staff were helpful when it came to sorting out issues, and I was accompanied to the bus and airport. Getting a wool neck scarf as a traditional welcoming present was a nice touch, as was the fruit bowl in the room. I had a room in the new wing. The room was sizeable, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Quiet in this room and slept well.
Everything about the resort exceeded my expectations, from the massage and spa to the incredible dining to the gorgeous views in your room and every corner, you will find everything you could ever want for a luxurious getaway in Nepal. I came to visit Lumbini and the management arranged the perfect car ride for a day tour around and was incredibly accommodating and flexible with my schedule from my spa appointment to all my transportation. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better experience!
