This family run business is very delightful and you will get some of the best food ever if you order lunch or dinner. The proportions are huge and could be easily shared. The boat tour offer is delightful though a bit expensive at 30 Euro per hour. You need about 2 hours to enjoy the boat trip. Very good wifi. The road in is a bit of a challenge.

The owner's sons were very helpful getting us set up. The guest house was well appointed although we only used the kettle and dishes. The beds were comfortable for us (not too squishy) and the pillows were great (firm and thick, I think memory foam). One bedroom had a bed for two and the second bedroom had two singles. It was a quick walk to town with a very small (1 min) section of walking along the busy road without adequate space. Walk along the train tracks for a short time and then cross over onto the path leading to town. It took us ten minutes.
The owners grocery shop a two minute walk away (and where you could go if you're checking in without setting it up) is nicely equipped with a small selection of wine, liquor, snacks, cookies, fruit and vegetables, sausage slices, cheeses, and cleaning supplies. It's a 3 minute walk to the train station and the trains are mostly on schedule and quite well priced. (From Virpazar, you would buy your ticket on the train with cash). If you are arriving after dark this is great because if you are staying by the lake it could be a scary walk at night. The AC works extremely well in the kitchen but there is none in the bedrooms -- it worked to keep the doors open to help cool down the bedroom). The patio is great with a BBQ. The stray cats around are quite friendly and want to join you-- one followed me to the door.
This space met our needs perfectly despite the negatives below. We would stay here again just with earlier conversations with the owners.

We stayed at this campsite and it was great! The host was awesome, super friendly and always ready to help. He made us feel really welcome. The decorations inside and outside were cool and gave the place a unique vibe. The garden and surroundings were beautiful too. I'd definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

We loved the walk till the small beach (10/15 minutes with kids), there you will find a diving board to jump in the river. The kids were so excited!!

This was the best place we visited in Montenegro. Rustic Village is a peaceful and beautiful haven, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. It was so instantly relaxing to be there. The pool was fantastic, and most of all, the welcome and warmth from the owner Mladen and his mother was wonderful. They cooked fabulous meals- all with ingredients from their own garden or the local area, and eaten under a grapevine, surrounded by flowers. We went on Mladen’s boat trip on the river to the top of the lake- just stunning. Such a pretty area.
We had a fantastic one night stay here. Location is peaceful with an amazing view of the river from the shared terrace downstairs where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and dinner cooked by the host. Room also had a great view and was very spacious. All facilities in room like new, including a great shower, and very clean. Highly recommend a stay here!
The view was fabulous of the lake, such a peaceful spot with a 15minute walk down to the lake where you can swim. There is a restaurant on site which caters to vegetarians. Would recommend

We spend two night with the sweet couple, they were so kind, we learn some montenegrin words, Douchka (sorry if i write wrong your name) cooked plenty of good things for dinner and breakfast, all tje vegetables are from the garden, everything is homemade. They are isolated, they overhang the river, what a beautiful view ! The best view every morning for breakfast. It's quiet and peaceful. You can visit a lot of things around the lake easily from there. Thank you again, we can wait to come again if we can.
