We had an excellent time at Ca'Lo Spicchio. Pedro and Flavio really welcomed us into their home. The room was clean and a great size. The pool had an incredible view over the hills. We were recommended lots of great restaurants in the area. The breakfast was amazing and we were provided with delicious healthy snacks throughout the day. It is very remote but we had directions to get there but would recommend that you have your own car to make the most of your stay.
Agriturismo Aggazzotti is situated in Colombaro and has a private pool and mountain views. The property features pool and garden views, and is 13 km from Modena Theatre.

The staff is incredibly kind and likeable, everyone from the owner to the waiters and cleaning staff. Our apartment was very spacious and clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. We could park our car right at the entrance to the stairs, and there's even a charging station for electric or hybrid cars.
Airco works well, even with 37°C outside. The kitchen is big and well equipped and there's even a washing machine.
We had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant on site, and for a very honest price.
There's two beautiful donkeys on the premises, who love to be petted :-)
There's mosquito nets on every window, so you can sleep with the windows open if you don't like to leave the airco on.
There were problems with the tv (from external causes) and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we could still watch the football match (Euro 2024).
We didn't try the pool but it looked nice!
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
There is not much choice for breakfast, but what is available is of good quality. We were happy with the hotel's own restaurant and dinner was very good. The area is quiet and very cosy.
This house is not far from many attractions. Despite the fact that there is a road nearby, the house was quiet. Very large rooms. The kitchen contains everything you need. Elena and her husband were very pleasant hosts and answered all questions. We stayed as a family with three children and were very pleased with our stay in this house.
Quiet rural location; plentiful parking; spotlessly clean; nicely furnished; restaurant next door - cooked to high standard but very reasonably priced (pizza for €8 counts as dirt cheap in the uk); italian breakfast (i.e. sweet pastry & coffee, home baked bread, butter provided on request)

Quiet location on the side of a hill with stunning views. The hosts where perfect, there if you needed them otherwise unobtrusive. Lovely small village close by and supermarket 10min drive.
Very nice location, very gentle owner and super supportive. Breakfast was worth every cent with fantastic homemade bread. Super quiet and easy to go to Bologna, Modena, Maranello....Interior is spotless and superclean.
The view is stunning. Nico is a very good host! The rooms are very big. The surrounding is nice and it is quiet. If you want to relax and calm down, it‘ll be the perfect spot.
