We were three couples visiting Puglia for a week and this evaluation is valid for all of us. Petra Country House is a splendid old villa situated a few miles to Lecce, in the middle of a large, forest-like garden, run by a most charming young couple, Susanna and Jacobo. İt is very conveniently located for day excursions in the region. The rooms are large, high ceilinged, very confortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast, served most of the times in the garden is fabulous and the coffee real good!...Susanna and Jacobo are very pleasent hosts. They are very helpful in giving advise about places to visit and to eat, even making reservations when necessary. They have two friendly dogs. the playful Golden Retriever Semola and the ittle shy Lenticchio that adds to the charm of the place. All and all a most recommended place to stay and enjoy in Puglia.

Nicola has been an amazing host. Kind, helpful with an amazing sense of hospitality. The place was amazing with clean serene surroundings. Will definitely book again for my next visit.

The owners are fantastic. The bedrooms very specious and comfy. Homemade breakfast was very good as well. Location is also good, close to Lecce and in good distance to the beaches.

The grounds, the pool, the buildings were beautiful. Rafaela the host was very friendly and very helpful with recommendations for dinner, beaches, day trips. The room and bed were very comfortable.

The property is very beautiful - a brand new swimming pool that looks over a wooded area. In an old Italian Farmhouse. It was quiet and peaceful and one could really see the stars! The room was nice, too, elegantly done and more than sufficient. I liked the bathroom / shower a lot. The windows and doors had screens, and the room had heating and air conditioning
