This place was amazing! We booked a superior room, which was so romantic and cozy - we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which included everything from homemade bread and cakes to delicious fruit, salami, and cheese.
There are many scenic roads nearby, perfect for walking while taking in the fresh air, stunning views, and beautiful autumn colors.
During our stay, we also booked a wine tasting tour, which was lovely - such great wines! We tried the wine pairing dinner as well, but we felt it could have been better. While it started off strong, it ended on a slightly average note (we often eat out, so our standards are quite high).
All in all, this place was fantastic - 10/10, we highly recommend it!

Very nice and comfortable house with great interior at high standards. The garden is incredible - nice view, incredible flowers and vegetation and a stone bathtub as the highlight. Daily cleaning was very comfortable and the tips on restaurants, shopping, sight seeing etc provided by the owners were very helpful and everything we tried (quite a few of the restaurants recommended) was perfect. Shared pool is a few meters to walk but quite big and refreshing. We always used our garden for relaxing as it is much nicer than the pool area.

Beautiful Tuscan property in the countryside. The location is quiet, the room felt luxurious with many amenities, good temperature (despite the winter). Breakfast is fabulous. The on-site restaurant La Bianca offers a fine dining experience albeit at a matching price.
Castel Pietraio is in a fantastic location and is certainly an atmospheric and interesting place to stay. It is sited on the Via Francigena so in a perfect position for walking and biking. The countryside around is beautiful, the little village Strove nearby has a useful café/restaurant. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful at night. The pool is large with beautiful views and a nice sunbathing area.
This place was amazing! The apartment was beautifully furnished and included all amenities. It was also a short walk (less than a minute) to the city center, which included some nice shops, restaurants, and a few bars. The city itself is peaceful and quiet, along with providing a gorgeous view of the Tuscan countryside. Matteo was awesome! He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all, just a great guy to talk to! If you are considering staying here, I highly recommend it!
