The location and building was beautiful. Kind and helpful staff. Clean pool. Big and clean rooms. Only thing we missed was an aircondition.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the hosts. It was a big bedroom with a big and new bathroom. Everything was extremely clean. We had a free visit of their small winery and a taste of their wines all for free. Hosts were speaking enough French and English so we managed to understood everything and to chat with them.
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh out of the oven there was a delicious figs (from their garden) crostata and 2 other types of cakes homemade, served warm. Coffee was made on order, espresso or cappuccino. There was an assortment of local cheeses and dry sausages, fruits, cereals, yogourt, juice, etc.
It was super well located, close to Barolo, La Morra, Montforte d'Alba, etc. We had an awesome view of the mountains and the sunset. The hosts made all the difference in the world, we felt welcomed and we regretted we could not stay longer.

We loved our stay in the Palazzo d'Assi. The spacious rooms are decorated beautifully and to an incredibly high standard, with wonderful views over the town of Monforte d'Alba and its gorgeous countryside.
The hotel was excellent with fantastically friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. It was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The view was spectacular and must be experienced.

Peace and quiet :) The hostess was really friendly and helpful and organized a great wine tasting and tour in the winery for us. At breakfast, everything was organic and everything you needed was available. Our warm recommendations and remember to ask for a wine tasting!
