The hostess, Silvia was very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant meals were delicious. Breakfast was freshly baked tarts and homemade jam. The restaurant waitress was charming. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with air con and a large, clean en suite. Parking was on site. Close to Pavarotti museum and Ferrari museum. Good base for exploring Modena and Bologna.

The owner was wonderful and friendly. The location was very quiet and as it was away from the city the night sky was amazing with stars. Breakfast was different each morning. We loved the fresh ricotta with figs right off the trees and homemade fig jam.

The rooms are very spacious, with a big terrace overlooking the hills. Breakfast was excellent, with both continental and sweet options. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. We used the wellness centre, it is very small, we were lucky as there were only two other people there so it was still enjoyable. And finally the location is breathtaking, up on the hills with 360 degree views, very green and quiet.
I feel this is a beautiful example of what people can achieve when they truly love what they do - hospitality in this case. Great attention to details touching on luxury but far from pretentious. We felt welcome & at home instantly. Exquisite dinner experience (would possibly still be great even with wine & bread only!). The town is a medieval gem, the region & landscapes are memorable.
The location is excellent for a peaceful stay. Overall the experience was sensational and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing views, the pool and the atmosphere. Bistro had some excellent food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The tour of the winery and Balsamic room is well worth doing.

We loved our stay at La Vedetta, the family who runs the place are very friendly and welcoming; dinner and breakfast were amazing. And the swimming pool is perfect to start the day with. And don't miss the balsamic vinegar tour!
