Located about 45-min above Florence, I chose this place to be central to other cities I wanted to visit. It’s also at least 5 degrees cooler than in Florence during the hot August month. The family hosting this property is very welcoming, professional and super nice - and Massimo, the host was nice enough to recommend a couple of routes while visiting other cities in Tuscany.
Also when I asked about the dinner recommendations for Florence, I found out that the host’s uncle owns a restaurant named Alfredo in the center of the city - and that dinner was a delight - they were busy with both the locals and the tourists. 😃
The hosts were also welcoming to my 2 small dogs. Overall, the place was clean, the hosts were super nice and the whole place has a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend.

I think the most important thing is that they room was expensive for what was offered. I got the delux suite, But the bed was two beds put together without a topper to kindda blend it. Good thing, the other room was totally separated from the first one. So it there was a bit of privacy.
Breakfast was very good, with an array of sweet and savory items. The fresh yogurt, the best!
Excellent: needed to covert the two night stay into one and the owners did everything so that could happen. That was very much appreciated. Although it was super cold when we arrived to the room, we had the AC heat and warmed up after a while. The property is placed on hill, so the views were adorable.

The host met us at the house and had the heat already turned on which was super kind arriving after a day of hiking. She also let us have our luggage delivered to the house ahead of time. There was plenty of food for us to cook dinner and prepare breakfast and a snack for the next day. It is a bit out of the way of the Via degli Dei, but there also aren't many options closer to the path. A wonderful stay without many issues. You have the entire home to yourself. It is a bit older of a home, but still quite lovely.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
It is a very charming Villa with a long history. Location was good if you want to be in the breathtaking countryside of Tuscany. You will need to drive to restaurants and supermarkets. Outstanding authentic restaurants close by.

We stayed at Villetta Il Nespolo for one night on our way home from holiday. Very good location near highway and despite this very quiet. We aprreciated self-service breakfast, so we didnt have to be limited by time for serving breakfast and we could leave early in the morning.
Amazing countryside vacation with horses, lambs, countless lavendel and rosemary fields and olive trees. Nice scienery with wild deers and wild boars in the morning.

Very nice and tidy little house in quiet, peaceful and green surroundings up in the hills. The host was very helpful, although she didn't speak any English, but used translator instead.
Beautiful rooms and setting is so peaceful and picturesque. Davide kindly came to collect us from the Futa pass as we were exhausted hiking the Via Degli Dei, and dropped us back in the morning. We had a delicious home cooked dinner.

Loved it. Quiet location in the countryside but can easily drive to Florence or Bologna (about 45 minutes each).
Super friendly and helpful staff, access to the kitchen 24/7. We were even able to purchase a late-night bottle of wine (their own wine which was wonderful)

The narrow road up the hill was romantic, but also full of potholes and we were afraid of breaking the car.
