I chose on purpose a location that seemed to be on the country side. I stayed at Rifugio Sebastiao, two persons in the two bedroom small house, and I recommend it very very highly. It was quiet, peaceful, wide, breathable, perfect for two people staying 8 nights. Fully equipped kitchen, private interior (closed) and external terraces, parking space. Washing machine useful for long staying with a backpack. Living room with AC and TV, free WiFi. Bedroom with hard mattress (which for me is very comfy and healthy for the back). Blind shutters creating complete darkness.
Finally, Mino, the owner, was extremely objective, kind and full of advice to go around. PS: A very nice and funny neighborhood cat was welcoming us every night and every morning, on the exterior terrace, where he seems to be the ower of the cental seating. Added bonus, you can get a temporary pet with the accommodation.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Quiet, cosy and freshly renovated small hotel. Everything is clean, smells good and thought of. AC is important and works fine. Location is just 2-3 blocks away from the main night promenade, all restos, cafes, tabaccherias, grocery stores and the Lido beach. Parking on the nearby streets (incl. 2 dedicated hotel lots) is hassle-free. The host Nicolo was beyond kind, he even treated us with exceptional mamma-made casattelli.
The view from the pool area is amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful and we liked the aperitif by the pool. The restaurant food was also quite good!

The apartment was very well maintained and clean, and the location is convenient - close to the town centre (yet in a quiet neighbourhood), and it’s close to the nearest beach.
This was the starting point for our exploration of western Sicily. It was an excellent location and quiet place. The apartment was fully equipped. The beach can be reached via a pine forest. The water was chilly in May, but swimming was never a priority anyway. The landlord and his wife were really helpful with their advice for our planned trips.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you would need and is located in a quiet area and no neighbors in the close proximity. The icing on the cake is Oscar, the most playful dog. We will be missing him ❤️.
This lodge is simply amazing. One of the best stays we had in Sicily. Simple but everything you need and more. The location is very tranquil and a bit remote. You will need a car. Then everything is reachable within a couple of minutes.
