Beautiful view from the window. Simple, but comfortable lodge. There is a footpath to a waterfall backyard and I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk.

The cabin with a kitchenette was very peaceful and remote but perfectly placed. The log cabin gives privacy and almost feels like we were camping but indoors. Could have stayed for much longer.

The setting is serene, just beautiful. It's very quiet, and an extremely good deal (at least when I booked it). Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, good bed, and very little light pollution for the northern lights

It was a quiet peaceful stay. I didn't expect the interior to be so warm and cozy, and well-stocked with cooking tools, utensils, and free coffee and tea. The bathroom and bedroom were cleaner and bigger than I expected. The other guests were very friendly as well. We saw stars and the nordic lights.

Very good location for exploring the west fjords. A quiet and peaceful place on the outskirts of Reykholar. The host is welcoming and helpful. The facility itself and the room clean and well-kept, large kitchen and an additional shared dining room and living room. Beautiful surroundings, you can easily reach the nearby hot springs and take advantage of the local "municipal swimming pool". The local Iceland museum is also highly recommended. The facility itself also had a mini hot water pool and a steam sauna.
