Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
If you want to feel real Ireland you should come in Doolin and this place is ideal for an overnight stay.
This place is the best if you want to have a peaceful quiet holiday. Small village 5 minutes by car from the cliffs. Perfect for family or group of friends.
Now I'm in love with there local Doolin's beer. Tasty food in a hotel's restaurant.
Thanks to all people who worked in this hotel and houses, you make our trip unforgettable.
Lovely place to stay close to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. We passed so many cute towns we probably would have never found to arrive here. Aoife was a great host and the place was really quiet and peaceful. Great room, shower and big bath towels. I also appreciated the thought and attention to having water, tea and coffee ready at the end of a long day or for your first morning cup. Will definitely come back!
I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a wonderful base to explore the Cliffs of Moher and Inishmore. The property is almost brand new, spotlessly clean, quiet and peaceful. Things like breakfast cereal and eggs were a lovely bonus. The host was really kind and checked with me by email to see if things were ok.
It was all wonderful. The house is located in a lovely place in the middle of the countryside and it is really peaceful. The room was big and well cleaned. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. We have loved our staying there.
Our stay here was so so lovely!
It was everything we needed ,expected and wanted. We loved how out and away we felt from everything (countryside) because its what we wanted by booking this in the first place. It was so quiet & Comfortable.
......although...my favourite part was pegleg penny ,the most scrumptious little muffin (Dog), who greeted us both mornings of our stay😌
Overall,
Thank you so much for everything.... so lovely. Definitely recommend!
Great location, easy walking distance to pubs with live music but quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views.
Lovely welcoming staff, the room was simple but large as was the bathroom. Plenty of space for luggage. Fresh milk in mini fridge for tea and coffee was a nice touch and the room was refreshed and restocked while we were out.
The location is minutes from a bus stop, right next to a beautiful farmland. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. Everything was clean and felt almost like a hotel room. The restaurant below was not open during my stay, so I am not sure how loud it would be at night as the rooms are directly above the dining area, but overall, it was quiet and peaceful during my time there.
We loved everything about this property. Spotless and quiet in the countryside.
