I had an amazing time in Jungle Joglo. They went above and beyond to make my experience good. Soap and shampoo are handmade and Ketut explained everything thoroughly. She even helped me learning Bahasa. The warmth of this accommodation is unbeatable and I would definitely recommend it.

A breathtaking jungle escape near Ubud, the view alone is worth the stay – a lush, endless green panorama, spectacular, also in a tropical downpour, mesmerizing to watch from the bed or the small private pool.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a generous flower arrangement on the bed, a warm and personal touch that set the tone for the entire stay. The staff were simply wonderful: kind, gentle, always ready to help, and always with a big smile. Each day, a local woman came to place an offering by the pool, a quiet and beautiful ritual that added a special kind of magic to the experience.
The room and bathroom are spacious, aesthetically designed in natural materials (huge bathtub with jungle view). Another highlight is the daily housekeeping service, which keeps everything spotless and ensures you always have fresh drinking water.
Despite feeling like a jungle retreat, the location is incredibly convenient. The houses are secluded and absolutely quiet, but the location is actually just off the main street leading to Ubud Center, making it super easy to get here by car, motorbike, or a Grab motorbike taxi. Walking from the street to the villa requires climbing a series of bigger, uneven stairs. For me, it was a perfect little workout each day, but it’s worth noting for those who might have mobility issues. Personally, I found it part of the charm—like descending into a hidden paradise.
Also within walking distance, there is a mini market, a laundry service, and a handful restaurants/warungs.
Overall, this stay was a 10/10 value for money. It’s rare to find a place that is well connected to the center, secluded and also deeply embedded in pure nature.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The place is incredible surrounded by beautiful rice fields, so calm and quiet. The rooms have a great view and the rice fields, with a terrasse to eat peacefully. The staff is amazingly kind, they helped us with their scooter. Wayan bring us on a 2h tour around the rice terrasse and hot springs it was so beautiful and we loved his compagny and his french speaking ! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, the meals were so delicious.
Thank you so much for everything and specially your kindness !
I really had an amazing time here! The setting and location is beautiful, it quiet, scenic, and peaceful. The staff was super nice, helpful, and very accommodating to our needs. Although our stay was short, it was really relaxing to enjoy the cool breeze and the view of the rice fields and mountain. It is quite a walk to Jatiluwih but managable and you could rent a motorcycle if you wanted. Walking around the property is also nice to enjoy in the late afternoon. I would love to comeback and stay here again!
This was an amazing place with wonderful people! The lodge is beautiful, in the middle of a ricefield in a very quiet place. It’s perfect for person who wants to connect with local people and have a peaceful rest. The staff was so nice and everything was so easy. I had very good food and the 1 day trip with Putu was an amazing moment! I 100% recommend this place and hope I’ll be back one day :)
The room in which we slept was decorated with a simple , elegant design. The doors were made of fabulous wood and let to an outdoor bathroom with a beautiful shower. We had our own porch and looked out onto a beautiful garden. The property is large and so quiet/peaceful. The main area with the kitchen was built and designed by the owners and it just breathtaking. Again, simple design but perfectly Balinese. There are lots of spaces around the property to lay down and relax.
Friendly hosts and breakfast was good quality. Property had excellent views from the roof and is in a quiet location. Just 5 minutes walk to the start of the rice terraces trekking routes.
We had a great time with Gede and his uncle and wife (who's an amazing cook!), they're such wonderful people. Airport pickup and transport to the next destination wasn't a problem.
Gede took us jungle trekking and through the rice fields, it was amazing.
The location and view was great too, and the sounds of the jungle at night just so mesmerising. Don't expect city life or anything though, it really is the countryside.
Breakfast was also really nice.
I definitely recommend staying there!
