A quiet, charming place with a very nice host. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner - Novela. Check in was fast and comfortable. The small house had everything we needed for a two night stay. The location is a big bonus, not only do you get to stay in a place surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful mountain views, you also get to be very close to Plitvice lakes National park (15min ride away), so that you can start your exploration of the park very early when it's less crowded (for less crowds we strongly recommend to start from park entrance Nr 2).
I just wish we have had time to spend one more day at the house just for relaxing and enjoying the silence and views. A superb value for money.

Michael, the young who checked us in was extraordinarily helpful. He oriented us to the National Park we would visit the next day. He carried our large suitcase up the stairs to our room. He came back to alert us that our lights were on in the car. He recommended the trout for dinner, and it was delicious and well prepared.
Set next to the stream and 1.6 mi from Prošćansko Lake in Plitvička Jezera, Plitvice Panta Rei is 5.9 mi from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2.
Quietly located in Seliste Dreznisko, House Zlatko is only 2.5 mi from Plitvice Lakes National Park. All rooms have a balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Our stay at this house was a mix of beauty and a small drawback. The surrounding area exceeded our expectations with its stunning canyon views, fields of wildflowers, and fruit trees, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The owner was a very kind and smiley man, always ready to help. However, the house had a noticeable smell of smoke from previous occupants, which was a bit off-putting. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the incredible surroundings and the owner's warm hospitality.
The location was perfect for a visit to Plitvice Lakes. The setting is rural and quiet with glorious views over the countryside. The owners of the property were extremely friendly and helpful. The terrace area with barbecue was also great.

When walking for 3 kms you get to the spot where you see the big waterfall from above, loved it!
Great location and very quiet and peaceful. I’d a bit of the track but good accessible with bikes and cars. Views from balcony are with it. The starting point of the biggest waterfall in the lakes is closer to this property.
The owner was this nicest and kindest lady. We were there for hardly 5 hours and she waited for us to arrive until 2:30am and she woke up early when we were leaving. Extremely sweet.
Even the room was very clean and the place was quiet. I will definitely be back :)
The apartment is spacious, clean. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. It is close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is absolutely out of this world!
The location is perfect for those who love nature and are looking for a quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are clean and cosy (just recommend bringing your own hygiene stuff). Host Katarina is a lovely woman, she is really nice, friendly, helpful and hospitable. Gave us some goodies and good advices.
Definitely worth the money and highly recommend it to stay if you are coming to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park.
